ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR...
I am Meri Irwin Rogoff, and I have been an instructor in the English Department since the Fall of 1997. I received my Bachelor's degree in English and Communications from Pitzer College, and I received a Master's degree in Teaching English from Cal State Fullerton. I also received a TESOL certificate, which is the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages. Therefore, if you are a non-native English speaker, I am well trained to diagnose and understand your writing challenges. I can help you improve your writing. When I am not teaching English, you will find me on stage at the Orange County Performing Arts Center as a soprano in the Pacific Chorale (see the web site linked to the words Pacific Chorale). I am married and have one daughter, who performs with her high school choirs.
